Radon

Radon Update: the mail away tests for radon in the air (of our house) gave results very close to my electronic meter results. I was pleased the results agreed. I'm more comfortable with the accuracy of both testing methods seeing these results. As a former chem. lab tech, I like being reminded that I still understand sample collection, too. :)

I continue to be amazed at how few folks understand radon. This area of SW Minn has such high levels of radon in the air that it's truly unusual. Hubby says that 1.2, 1.5 pci is the national average. There was house that the realtor sold recently w/19pci before remediation. wow.
